- Rainbow Fish cloze passage work.
- Creating sea pictures with the 'Drawing Pad' app on the iPads and uploading to their Seesaw portfolio.
- Word work with our 'Fish on a Dish' activity. (Children fish for words and record.)
- Information report writing on the great white shark.
- Drawing a blue marlin using a number 7.
- Word work with magnetic letters on the Smartboard.
- Reading to self with our new 'snazzy' reading glasses.
- Enjoying a story on our iPads.
- Word work playing 'Find the Fishy Words'. (The fish have a number under them and children have to write a 'fishy' word with that many letters.)
- Drawing an octopus with the number 8.
- Enjoying games on the computers.
- Practising sentence beginnings with sea themed sentence cards.
KP children should be feeling very proud of themselves working so hard during L3 group time this week. They have completed a variety of literacy activities independently, as well as reading and completing word work with their teacher in the Engine Room. Some activities this week have included:

About UsKP is a class of 17 happy and enthusiastic children excited to be in Kindergarten at Helensburgh PS in 2016. Our teachers are Mrs Sue Dowling (Monday and Tuesday) and Mrs Julie Parkinson (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) Our school is in NSW, Australia.
