It was 'I Wonder Who Wednesday' today and thanks so much to our mum who read one of her favourite books 'Piranhas Don't Eat Bananas' by Aaron Blabey to KP this morning. The children found this story hilarious! Thanks for volunteering to be our mystery reader today - there was a very happy boy in KP today!

Our bean plants are growing! Our drawings and voices describing our plants were recorded with the 'Draw and Tell' app on our iPads. Please take a look.
KP's Bean Plants from Sue Dowling on Vimeo. Yesterday KP took part in some 'buggy' shopping! First we wrote a shopping list for all the parts we needed to make an insect. We then took turns being the shopkeepers and shoppers and had to purchase all the necessary parts for our insect. The parts had different values from 5c through to $2. Once we had bought all the parts we needed, it was time to construct our insect. Everyone was really engaged and we thoroughly enjoyed our shopping/constructing experience! How great do our insects look? It was 'I Wonder Who Wednesday' today and thanks so much to our grandfather who read one of his favourite books 'Last Tree in the City' by Peter Carnavas to KP this morning. The children loved this story! Thanks for volunteering to be our mystery reader today - there was a very happy grandson in KP today! We were very excited to plant our bean seeds yesterday and we are looking forward to seeing them grow. Cup ✔ Bean seed ✔ Paper towel and water ✔ Warmth and sunlight ✔ We are going to give Jack some competition with his beanstalk! We hope KP had a fabulous holiday break and everyone is ready for a terrific Term Four. We will be growing plants this term and exploring all things buggy! We are really looking forward to seeing you all back at school today!
Today marks the beginning of World Space Week and this year's theme is “Remote Sensing – Enabling Our Future”. There are lots of resources on this page that will keep children busy during Space Week (and beyond). There are games, quizzes, songs, interactive activities, videos etc. Enjoy!
